PCR stands for Post-Consumer Recycled plastic.
It begins with plastic that has already been used. After it is collected, sorted, cleaned and reprocessed, the recovered material can become new packaging—giving existing plastic another life instead of relying entirely on newly produced virgin plastic.
PCR does not make plastic impact-free. It helps keep existing material in circulation and reduces the need for new plastic.

Through our planned work with Plastic Bank, idaari aims to support the verified collection of discarded plastic through collection communities in vulnerable coastal regions.
Every kilogram collected is recorded and traceable. Plastic Bank conservatively equates one kilogram of recovered plastic to 50 small plastic bottles.
